I'm Still Me.

I haven't posted on my blogspot since April so I thought it be nice to come on here and drop a few words, I've been in the bed this past week due to my wisdom teeth being removed. I haven't been able to talk or eat much but I've had the chance to do a lot of thinking and really just reflect on life. I work 7 days a week so anytime I get to relax is always much appreciated. I've watched tons of movies and TV in the past couple of days which rarely would happen with my normal schedule. I've really had to the time to analyze my work and the people I choose to keep in my corner which has been another issue, I've had to deal with lately. It's funny the little things in life that make us happy, we never notice them til it's too late. For instance the only thing I want right now more then a million dollars would be a beer and some pizza, I've been eating applesauce all week and I swear I'm starting to REALLY dislike it. However I do have time to count my blessing and everything God is currently doing for me. I have a great team of friends, I have a roof over my head and the car I've always wanted. The material wants are pretty much out of the way and now I only yearn for greater success for myself and my counter parts. I can't believe in just a few weeks I will be 23, where does the time go? It took forever to turn 21 and now the numbers just keep rolling, my youth is still intact though. Life is crazy and I can ramble all day, but I wont. I just wanted to voice my thoughts because freedom of speech is once again the little things in life that make it that much more sweeter.

I'm Around

I've been on but mostly off with blogger, mostly because I've been really busy and this gets more time consuming. I prefer now a days to post on my tumblr just because its faster. I've been busy making my life more stable but I still enjoy to wild out every now and then. I've been doing tons of writing and plan to continue to post it here still. My blog has always been my more personal space on the internet (oxymoron?) but I enjoy it. Once again thanks to all the people who continue to support what I do and if you read this even more cuz it's very random.

Back Online!

I've been gone for a good week and half from having access to my computer and Internet. I was in the process of moving into my new place but I'm finally here!! My Internet was turned on today so I felt it was only right to post on the blog. Thanks to all who kept checking my blog even when I was gone! Special thanks to my homie Doms who helped me out A LOT with this move and now that everything is in working order it's time to get back to the goods!

Saturday night I hit Tempe to check out the new Me Phi location on mill ave and the new store is really dope! The party was full of new and old friends. The DJ who was spinning at the party was so ILLY! Shout out to the entire Me Phi crew for hosting another GREAT event!

Music Monday!

Back From The Dead!

After spending the last 3.5 days in the bed sick, it's great to be back up and at it! I got sick Monday and til about yesterday it was all bad. I never been the one to take off multiple days of work but this week my body said "enough is enough". Thank you to all that helped me get back on my feet and the prayers I received. I'm not back at 100% but this is the best I've felt since last Saturday. It's so nice to wake up and NOT have a fever! Thanks again to everyone and god of course for holding me down in the mean time!

A Fashionable Birthday Bash

This weekend the homie David and Tray held it down in scottsdale for part one of their birthday parties. I had a great time hanging out with new and old friends! I did my share of drinking for the evening and got a little sick but It was all worth it! Part TWO this saturday!

Great Film!

It's almost 3AM and I was up watching a really great piece on Hulu tonight that really inspired me, the film is called "Speed & Angels". Young Navy Officers, Jay and Meagan, have dreamt of becoming naval aviators flying the F-14 Tomcat since their childhoods. The film follows their two-and-a-half year journey as it takes them through dogfights in the Nevada desert, night landings on aircraft carriers in the Atlantic, and eventually to the biggest challenge young officers face: wartime deployments to Iraq. I felt this film brought out the truth about being in the navy as you see both ups and downs. No script, just the truth. TWO THUMBS UP!

The Rain!

It's been raining like crazy in AZ but it's been enjoyable for the most part (minus driving in it). I've been able to spend a lot of time getting things in order, lately and the rain helps me clear my mind. The start of 2010 has been an experience from work to my own personal life, but all positive at the end. Even though it's raining, I know the sun is out somewhere and that's kinda how my life has always been and I never doubt the power of God. Today is just another day to appreciate the wonder of the world! I will be enjoying my latest book and drinking some black tea. Hope everyone else enjoys their day!
