Time To Pack!

Tomorrow night I will be heading out to San Francisco for a few days. I love SF so any chance I get to go, I'm there. I was in Phoenix last year for Thanksgiving and wanted to switch it up this year. I haven't been to SF since the black scale pop up shop opened so I'm looking forward to this. I really need this break from Phoenix to just chill and enjoy life. There are just a couple of things I need to get away from for a few days because lately I feel like I have so much weight to carry and at times I feel like my knees are to the ground. I plan to kick it with some cool people, eat a lot of good food and of course do some shopping!

My Weekend...

Let me start by saying, I'm not a twilight fan but I do respect the series. The movie was better than I expected it to be however. Usually I prefer books over the movie but this kept up with the plot. The line for this movie was so intense but once I finally made it to my seat it was worth it. Even if your not a fan of the series it's still a good movie that anyone could enjoy. Last night I ended up catching Phantom Of The Opera down in Tempe @ ASU's Gammage! This was one of the coolest shows I've ever seen. They did a REALLY good job with the show, from the acting to the music, it was well done. I wouldn't mind seeing the show again! I was invited for my birthday present and the evening was a complete success! Other then being sick this weekend, I'd say this weekend has been very good!

R.I.P. Grandma!

Today marks the 2 year anniversary of my Grandma's passing. Even though it happened 2 years ago the pain feels like it happened yesterday. My Grandma was the best thing God ever gave to me and the one person I will NEVER forget. My Grandma struggled with cancer for over a year but she held on as long as she could. She was never a quitter. When it was time to go she was not scared because she knew she was going home. My grandma taught me how great God really is and always was my link to the name of truth. Nov. 12 is never a great day for me but I honor it. Nov. 12 is the day I celebrate life and appreciate everything God has given me, because I don't always deserve it but the lord has never taken it from me. Please grandma understand my tears today are only that I miss you but I know you are enjoying the TRUE golden years that will last an eternity. Today my family said a prayer to you and I hope you herd us Grandma. I picked up the same wine you would drink when you gave me the lessons of life at night to honor you. You will forever be missed...

I've been keeping up with TB videos for the longest now and dude has so much talent and only gets better with years. I been a huge fan since back in the day when he'd post the snare drum solo's. Much respect.

My Afternoon Spent...

My boy dom put me on wale awhile ago and I enjoy most of his music from the past and the mix tapes were dope, so of course I was more then excited to check his first album out. It got leaked on the net but I still waited to hear it's entirety. I really enjoyed this album and there are a couple tracks that are gonna be on heavy rotation on my iTunes. Movie Monday!

I was up til about 6AM this morning doing some writting and couldn't sleep so I watched a couple of movies. I'm super late on both but I finally had the chance to sit down and watch them, so for once I put away my family guy DVDs!

Things That Go BUMP In The Night.

I know the first thing someone is going to say is "DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE" but the last couple of times I've let anyone drive me around while I was drinking I'm on their clock and I hate that shit. I drive myself and take full responsibility of my actions.

Last night I was out having one of the best nights I've had in Arizona in a really long time and was pretty wasted when I destroyed my mirror on a construction sign. Lucky for me it wasn't a wall but either way I will have to pay to get my mirror fixed. The night was still totally worth it and I'd do it again. I just thought I shared that with you all.

Other things that suck: I just noticed someone stole my damn honda emblems! Lol people still doing this shit? Damn son! They took front and back but atleast they didn't take my radio! lol

Saw VI

I went to see this tonight and it was better then SAW V but I still wasn't a huge fan of it, I'm gonna give up on this series and it kinda sucks when you know who the killer is so I'm gonna say that aspect of the movie is gone. I thought this movie was cool but more talking then anything and less "You wanna play a game" aspect. If you haven't seen it your not missing anything because the movie is only a bridge.
