BLACK To The Future!

I spent the weekend in L.A. and even though it rained 90% of the weekend I had a blast! It was good to be in town again and visit family and the homies! I did some minor shopping (well what I call minor) and partied downtown with my brother. It feels good to be miles away from home but have friends who make you feel right at home. I was all over the town and eating Roscoe's chicken and waffle for breakfast every day. Thank you L.A. you treated me so well!

I've been a fan of JaiHall's work for sometime now and after talking some stuff over we got together for some photos. We linked up and headed down town to shoot. I really enjoyed shooting with her because I had the chance to have great conversation with an intellect (it's rare) which is always good! We chopped it up so much half the time I even forgot that a camera was even there because we just had fun exchanging ideas about life. I was proud to be apart of her project because I feel she is shooting some of the best stuff in AZ right now.

40 years young and still killing the game! I remember when I first got into hip hop and I was listening to Reasonable Doubt, I was just amazed on how hov painted pictures in my head. That album changed my life and the way I listened to music and I just want to give thanks for that!

Fed Up!

Ninja Assassin!

I went to see this movie and hadn't seen the previews but I herd a lot of good things about it. I really enjoyed this movie and the plot. It was a gory movie but not over the top. I enjoy kung fu movies but lately most of them come up short for me, but this movie had me the entire time. I enjoyed that the plot didn't contain a lot of talking but the movie had a fast pace. This movie is definately worth your time!

Back From San Francisco!

I got home safe (thank you God) tonight and I'm literally trying to do 999 things right now. The trip was amazing! I haven't had this much fun in a long time, if ever. I was in SF for 5 days chillen with a lot of good people. I had an amazing Thanksgiving and the food was SUPERB! Black Friday was pretty crazy but tons of fun! I made it out to the black-scale flagship and picked up some items that I've been dying to get! Plus I was visiting the BS homies who always look out for me when I'm in town (thanks reezy!). I also went to huf the next day to visit some homies as well and pick up an item that I've been peepin. For my last night in SF, I went ice skating and surprisingly enough I didn't eat shit. I had so much fun on this trip and if you follow me on twitter/facebook you prolly seen some of my adventures in SF. The best part of the trip was to be around people who just make you feel so good to be alive. It felt good to look and the mirror and just smile for no reason other then the fact that you get to see another day God has for you...

Time To Pack!

Tomorrow night I will be heading out to San Francisco for a few days. I love SF so any chance I get to go, I'm there. I was in Phoenix last year for Thanksgiving and wanted to switch it up this year. I haven't been to SF since the black scale pop up shop opened so I'm looking forward to this. I really need this break from Phoenix to just chill and enjoy life. There are just a couple of things I need to get away from for a few days because lately I feel like I have so much weight to carry and at times I feel like my knees are to the ground. I plan to kick it with some cool people, eat a lot of good food and of course do some shopping!

My Weekend...

Let me start by saying, I'm not a twilight fan but I do respect the series. The movie was better than I expected it to be however. Usually I prefer books over the movie but this kept up with the plot. The line for this movie was so intense but once I finally made it to my seat it was worth it. Even if your not a fan of the series it's still a good movie that anyone could enjoy. Last night I ended up catching Phantom Of The Opera down in Tempe @ ASU's Gammage! This was one of the coolest shows I've ever seen. They did a REALLY good job with the show, from the acting to the music, it was well done. I wouldn't mind seeing the show again! I was invited for my birthday present and the evening was a complete success! Other then being sick this weekend, I'd say this weekend has been very good!

R.I.P. Grandma!

Today marks the 2 year anniversary of my Grandma's passing. Even though it happened 2 years ago the pain feels like it happened yesterday. My Grandma was the best thing God ever gave to me and the one person I will NEVER forget. My Grandma struggled with cancer for over a year but she held on as long as she could. She was never a quitter. When it was time to go she was not scared because she knew she was going home. My grandma taught me how great God really is and always was my link to the name of truth. Nov. 12 is never a great day for me but I honor it. Nov. 12 is the day I celebrate life and appreciate everything God has given me, because I don't always deserve it but the lord has never taken it from me. Please grandma understand my tears today are only that I miss you but I know you are enjoying the TRUE golden years that will last an eternity. Today my family said a prayer to you and I hope you herd us Grandma. I picked up the same wine you would drink when you gave me the lessons of life at night to honor you. You will forever be missed...

My Afternoon Spent...

My boy dom put me on wale awhile ago and I enjoy most of his music from the past and the mix tapes were dope, so of course I was more then excited to check his first album out. It got leaked on the net but I still waited to hear it's entirety. I really enjoyed this album and there are a couple tracks that are gonna be on heavy rotation on my iTunes. I was up til about 6AM this morning doing some writting and couldn't sleep so I watched a couple of movies. I'm super late on both but I finally had the chance to sit down and watch them, so for once I put away my family guy DVDs!

Things That Go BUMP In The Night.

I know the first thing someone is going to say is "DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE" but the last couple of times I've let anyone drive me around while I was drinking I'm on their clock and I hate that shit. I drive myself and take full responsibility of my actions.

Last night I was out having one of the best nights I've had in Arizona in a really long time and was pretty wasted when I destroyed my mirror on a construction sign. Lucky for me it wasn't a wall but either way I will have to pay to get my mirror fixed. The night was still totally worth it and I'd do it again. I just thought I shared that with you all.

Other things that suck: I just noticed someone stole my damn honda emblems! Lol people still doing this shit? Damn son! They took front and back but atleast they didn't take my radio! lol

Saw VI

I went to see this tonight and it was better then SAW V but I still wasn't a huge fan of it, I'm gonna give up on this series and it kinda sucks when you know who the killer is so I'm gonna say that aspect of the movie is gone. I thought this movie was cool but more talking then anything and less "You wanna play a game" aspect. If you haven't seen it your not missing anything because the movie is only a bridge.

I've Been On The Go!

The past week has been a busy one, I've been busy with a couple of projects and holding my family down. I've been trying to end this year strong and finish out some short term goals of mine. Can't be all work and no play, so I plan to spend this thanksgiving in San Francisco. I just wanted to check in and let everyone know I'M GOOD! I have been MIA but just know when I'm gone I'm bettering myself! Now back to your normally programmed blogging! ;)

Well today my Blackberry went to the big Tmobile store in the sky! It was only a matter of time before this happened after about 2 weeks ago my delete button stopped working. My phone just stopped being able to charge and I tried multiple batteries but the phone is still dead. I enjoyed my BB until the last month or so when I started to have these issues. Life with no cell phone, how did I ever live before? lol

Happy Birthday To Me

Today I've been celebrating my 22ND birthday, I've had so much positive energy around me today! I've had great conversations with old friends, made new friends, and spent time with some family members I get to see rarely and this was just the day... Yea it has been a hectic day but fun! I've had tons of great presents but my favorite has been the canvas of myself because I've never received anything like this and it was hands down the best gift I could have got. Well now it's time for my birthday dinner that I'm holding, so I shall see everyone tonight to top the day off! Thanks again god for even letting me see another year on this planet!!
